The University of Passau's gender equality work aims to create an internal university infrastructure that allows students to combine their studies and family life or work and family life and thus takes measures to support gender equality.
Equality is also understood to mean measures to equalize disadvantaged social groups (people with disabilities, people with illnesses, people with a migration background, children of educationally disadvantaged parents) in all areas of life. This is also regulated by an Equality Act, the fundamental aim of which is to achieve equality between women and men.
The Equal Opportunities Officers promote and monitor the implementation of the Equal Opportunities Act and are part of the university's equal opportunities work. The duties of the Equal Opportunities Officers also include advising on equal opportunities issues and supporting employees and students in individual cases, whereby employees and students can contact the Equal Opportunities Officers directly.
So if you feel disadvantaged in any way, please contact us as the ZLF Equal Opportunities Officer for the teacher training courses to discuss your problem - we will be happy to try to support you in your individual situation. You are welcome to use our regular office hours (book an appointment by e-mail or via stud.IP profile) for your questions and concerns on the subject of equal opportunities!
