Global Classrooms: Educational Journeys – Summer Semester 2026

What is it like to go to school in another country? The lecture series Global Classrooms takes us on a journey through educational landscapes around the world, offering unique personal insights into classrooms across different countries. The Language Centre, together with the Teacher Education Centre (global.trex) and AYCD (International Office), warmly invites you to take part. This project is aimed at all student teachers and anyone interested in exploring education systems from around the globe through a personal perspective, while also refreshing and developing their English language skills.

International students at the University of Passau share their educational journeys that have brought them to Passau and reflect on their experiences at school. They offer insights into the countries in which they grew up and provide first-hand perspectives on the education systems they experienced themselves. The presentations, together with question-and-answer sessions, are held online in English in a peer-to-peer format (students presenting to students).

We look forward to welcoming you!
