The subject-specific requirement for the PDP as well as for one of the two alternative placements is the successful completion of Basic Module I in School Pedagogy (lecture with accompanying seminar, Introduction to School Pedagogy) (see the module catalogues from 2013/14 onwards under the heading "Teaching programmes"). You may, however, register for a first placement on a conditional basis, subject to passing the module.
The course is offered every semester. You attend the lecture (course number 40510) and an accompanying seminar "Introduction to School Pedagogy", from which you may choose from several identical offerings. The course is delivered jointly by the Chair of Educational Science with a focus on School Development and Professionalisation Research and the Chair of Educational Science with a focus on Empirical Teaching and Learning Research.
